When a blind man cries...

There must be some sort of chaotic and ironic abnormality when most of the people of a country suffer in extreme and cruel poverty while their leaders wear 20 000 dollar watches and 15 000 dollar bags. It's defyingly obscene. But that is not the reason why a large number of my co-nationals, the bravest ones, left their warm homes and decided to come out in the freezing cold to shout their hearts out for the desperate hope of a CHANGE.

I am mute and humble to their beauty, to the grace of their noble and brave hearts that chose to step up and make a move. They chose to abandon their comfortable couches and come out in the cold to prove they are not dead yet...in spite of the constant destructive "reforms" of an illiterate Government that chopped off their wages, pensions, medications and...generally their dignity. I am so happy I can say again I am proud of my people....to the rest of my lethargic people WAKE UP ROMANIA, stick your head out of the aquarium!!!!!

Hello:
The gap between rich and poor in so many nations does seem to be widening with every day that passes. There is no wonder that social unrest is the result. In Hungary, people are now regularly taking to the streets in protest but little appears to change. It is all most worrying.

Yes, it's really brave of them. Lots of people would go to rally in Philippines also for just about any reasons.. I haven't joined one yet. it's just toooo hot to be out in the street and bad for the skin. ahahaha

while we didn't pay attention the governments of the world have spent themselves into oblivion...most of it on themselves ..now the bank is empty and we get left holding the bag...

I'm glad to see the movement in your country. It is becoming this way all around the world and it is just unfair. We just had people protesting here in the U.S against all the wall street folks who are making way to much money while the rest of us make very little, it was called Occupy Boston or whatever city a group camped in. There was little change that happened from it right now, but it is bringing awareness to the issue and that is key to the beginning of change. I hope the same happens for you and your country

It's like someone turned on a switch and woke us up from our slumber over the last 5 years (globally). And all for a good change. It's the same in my country. It's just those in charge that are still snoozing away.....

Change must come. The Internet has empowered people like nothing else in history ever could. Good luck!

People must stay informed and be aware of what is going on. Freedoms are being chipped away little by little. blessings, Catherine xo

The people of Belgium will be rallying this Monday too for the same reason. Crisis and poverty.

I hope this worldwide crisis will stop soon!
