Androgynous men - every girl's secret fantasy

I like men with an androgynous look, I've always been drawn to them. This is Andrej Pejic, a famous androgynous model from Australia, who turned upside down the entire fashion world. Apparently, the great designers don't request female models anymore, they are quite obsolete, they only require Andrej Pejic's assistance, since he can do them both...and so well, apparently.
Andrej Pejic was named by FHM,  the 98th sexiest "woman" in the world. How strange is that?.

He is actually Serbian, he moved to Australia when he was already a teenager. It is interesting that his brother is totally opposite of him - a huge hunk with big muscles and he even has Andrej's face tattooed on his biceps...

Hello Petronela:
Andrej Pejic is indeed a strange and haunting character. One can easily see why he is beloved of the glossy magazine as the camera just seems to adore him.

In our minds, it is the rather curious 'beauties' who become the real successes in the modelling world rather than the more traditionally recognised good looks.Kate Moss would be, in our view, a case in point.

Hi Petronella,
He is indeed alluring. He looks very similar to my daughter's best friend, Felix Love - http://www.modelmayhem.com/1035490
They are practically inseparable and always applying each others make-up. A match made in heaven :-)

I had a lesbian friend, whom I always thought was beautiful. She was straight up androgynous and was one of the best friends that ever blew through my life. Later, I had an epiphany, Angels are neither male nor female, they are the embodiment of androgyny. And that's why I think there is some inherent beauty in a human, male or female, that can truly pull off the look.

Actually, Andrej is Bosnian Australin model and he was born in Tuzla, he's from a mixed marridge and I hate political and religious manipulations while we're at it @DEZMOND. If someone doubts it, there are a couple of videos available on YouTube filmed when he came back to Tuzla and you can even check this Wikipedia article:

Honestly, few people from Bosnia and even smaller count of people in Serbia would like to be related with him in any way. Both countries are extremely conservative, Serbia even more so. Personally, I don't like him because he's having a pretty public identity crisis and cleverly hides the way he really feels. Male or female is the question and he's very smart, using it to tickle imagination and make huge bucks off it. That I salute but I'm not personally attracted to people who haven't even sorted out how they really feel.

Hi!

I think a more versatile model that may be, this type has no substitute as a woman and vice versa.

I've never seen him before. But I can see how he would be in high demand from the modeling world. His figure is exactly what all the women runway models strive to look like. I love beauty in all forms, and he is striking in his own way.

I went to college with a beautiful boy like this. I wonder what became of him. He was prettier than most girls.

I remember when I first saw my first androgynous person and i totally fell in love with love. he had wavy, long brown hair. his nails were manicured. He had the prettiest lips ever. I thought oh my god, I just want to look at you all day.
Ooh, there's an emotional thought for a novel about angels I'm writing. There aren't many humans in the book but to have them bestow this undying love of wonder on these angels....I guess I know how they feel now. Thx Petronela

@Selma
actually, nobody is ashamed of him here in Serbia. His grandmother still lives here in one of the towns in southern Serbia and he often visits her with his mother and brother and the whole village loves when he comes down there. We are proud of everybody who is from these regions (no matter whether it is Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, or my own Vojvodina) and who scores success at the world level.
What you have shown in your own comment, dear Selma, is one of the worst characteristics of people from these regions - instead of supporting successful people from our part of the world, you trash them and envy them. And how do you know if he has found himself or not. You don't know him personally. You don't have to be a man or a woman to have your own identity, you just need to be a good person.
That being said, I'm sending you love from Vojvodina, because these regions need mutual love!

I was going to say 'urgh no', then I remembered one of my many teenage crushes was Sebastian Bach (singer from Skid Row) who looked very similiar. So I guess 'urgh no' doesn't count any more :-)

Not sure if he is my thing. I guess I like my men, a little more manly.
But each to thier own.

I do find it sad that fashion companies often persist in portraying unrealistic body images to sell thier clothing.

Wow. I didn't know some women went for that kind of thing in men. But then, I was shocked when I found out that women preferred men without hair on their backs. :)

Take care, Petronela
