Time for confessions (to writers' attention)

You know me, I am not very much into conformity, not that there is something wrong with it, it's just not my thing; so I thought I would find other authors who share my enthusiasm toward the uncommon, the unexpected, the unusual way of writing a story and host them on my blog on a weekly basis. So, if you are a published author of fantasy, paranormal and romance and are an AVOIDER of cliches and stereotypes, I would love to have the honor of your presence on my blog. I am looking for interesting confessions and spicy details about the life of a writer and the struggle of creating immortal characters (and I don't mean vampires) :). I wish to promote amazing writers of fantasy/romance and this is my humble contribution...so, if you're a weaver of beautiful words please let me know. Post in a comment a link to your book/blog and an email.

Hey, Unikorna ;) One of the things I enjoyed about writing my angel trilogy in college was that my characters didn't fall into stereotypes. The story isn't the same predictable thing you pick up over and over - I wanted to write something different and special (to me). Though the story has been completed for years, I've recently brushed up the books for publication. The third book is due out next month, but the first two are already available to buy amzn.to/11Yia5Y

I love to write but you know I couldn't begin to describe a fantasy penis(LOL) or other parts. I mean, they're fun to hold but how do you explain that? I best wait and have a look at what comes along on your blog. Or maybe you could run a monthly contest of people giving their best descriptions of ear-tonguing... (what?)
Exhale, Dixie!

I love hearing what other authors do and how they do it. A fun idea. You've set some pretty tough standards. That makes it even better. And I LOVE the image for this blog. Awesome!

I've never tackled writing a fantasy story but have thought that it would be fun to try. I typically write realistic fiction for kids.

Dear friend,

Your invitation is very interesting. It's like an open door to encourage other writers of fiction or paranormal.

There was a time when I was a university student, who wrote a book of fiction. I presented it as homework and was highly praised. However, I did not write a second book continuing.

Kisses

My Lunchbox Romance THREE WISHES, Published by Boroughs Publishing Group March 2013 is a feel-good fairy tale with an Irish Leprechaun, Fairies, Fairy Doors & Fairy Charms, and one woman in peril who find some magic to save her day.

I'd love to share a copy with you for review, and a spot on your website.

Hi Unikorna,

I have two tales I'd like to share with you, and your readers.

I have two short Lunchbox Romances - Confounding Cupid and The Magick of Christmas published by Boroughs Publishing Group.

The Cupid story is a fantasy about a Cupid trying really hard to earn his wings and Magick of Christmas is about a witch trying to find her true love.

I'd love you to read and review them and if possible, have a spot on your website.

Let me know if my books (I have others too, full length novels set in London and the acting world) would be a good fit. Find me at http://susanmacnicol.com, and http://www.boroughspublishinggroup.com/authors/susan-mac-nicol

I'd love to be showcased on such a lovely site!

Sue
