Autumnal rhapsodies

I have been absent for a while, not without a reason...This autumn is playing with my head and I am not in the best of moods. But I did surprise a few amazing moments in my garden that I wanted to share with you. Love you all, my virtual friends :).

Your roses are beautiful. The pink one is my favorite. Pretty kitty eyes! I just found a ladybug in my kitchen the other day. Hope it's good luck. I do hope you get back to a good way!

Those are lovely photos - love the kitty and the ladybug! Last year you posted a photo of a rosebud with ice crystals on it - I saved the photo - it was so marvelous!

Dear friend,

I love roses. There is nothing better for the spirit than taking care of a garden and pets.

Hugs!

There's nothing like a surprise of beauty to give you a little pick-me-up. Hold tightly to it until you see a little light. I totally understand, sweetie, I also remember this hitting you last year. You came out and up to shine with such a bright light. You can do that again.

{{hugs}}

Those photos are beautiful.

We too have had some sights that are very late in the season to almost be real. The latest surprise in my garden was a wasp which flew down for a drink out of a tiny bead of water on some wood. It was on Sunday 24th November - this must surely be a record for a wasp to be flying around?!
Your photographs are really beautiful. It is sad that roses are only with us until the frost as they are a very inspiring flower. It is lovely when we encounter one that has a lovely bloom with a delicate fragrance. I fear that roses that have perfume are becoming more rare nowadays though. Are your roses fragrant?

Thank you for your visit Petonella. I have been wickedly poorly over the last few days. Of all things I made a cake and used some baking powder. The baking powder contained a chemical called Disodium Diphosphate which attacked every corner of my mouth and throat. Even my stomach was sore. When I was younger all baking powder was made from bicarbonate of soda and tartaric acid - I cannot understand why anyone would change basic ingredients. Anyway I shall be very careful not to have this ingredient ever again - it should be banned.

xx
