It's a boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Really?

Yes, well, I wanted a girl soooo much, that when the doctor said it was a boy, I stayed mute for a few seconds. I need some time to get used to the idea. You ladies out there, who are mothers of sons, it's not so bad, is it? I need some encouragement :))). Kisses and hugs to all my blogger friends and readers. Thank you so much for your kind wishes.

I have two sons, two grandsons and two step-grandsons and they're all lovely - really, I wouldn't swap any of them! Girls are lovely too of course.
You will be a wonderful mummy and your baby will be beautiful and bring you so much love :-) x

When I was pregnant back in 1981, I didn't know if it was a boy or girl until I gave birth. To this day, I am so glad I had my son. The second I laid eyes on him, I knew I was meant to be a Mom of a boy. There is such a special bond between mothers and sons. I can't emphasize that enough. Cherish!!

Congratulations!!

I have 3 boys and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Girls are cute and fun to dress, but there's just something about little boys who are trying so hard to prove that they're grown up and tough that will melt your heart. (Plus, they're far less dramatic than girls in the teenage years...or so I'm told.)

I love the boys, because they are more friends and protectors of their mothers. You'll have a great partner. And will also need a little more power! rsss

When will he born?

Kisses + hugs

I always wanted a boy, when the doctor told me it was a girl, I asked him to recheck; Yes I had a daughter. I pray you have a healthy and happy baby. You will be in love with your baby when you see his face, You are going to be a Mom! I am 60 now and can't think of one single thing in life that is more important or more wonderful than to give life. Congratulations.

Unfortunately I could never carry to full term, however that has not stopped me from being adopted by all the nieces and nephews. It's beyond Aunt-dom.

Congratulations sweetness!

Congratulations again Petronela... I have to tell you when my daughter was pregnant with her first, I think she secretly wanted a girl but along came Jackson... he is such a doll and a mama's boy.

I had two girls, and they were wonderful to raise. Then my daughter moved back in with us with her two boys (just babies). They lived with us 18 years, and the boys were even more affectionate and LOTS easier to raise. Boys are awesome, and they love their mamas...and grandmas!

Like I said on FB - matters only that the baby is healthy and the child grows up happy..

Not a mother ... er... obviously... but.. a father to both and both are terrific. The boy was more hassle when very young, very needy and attention seeking where as his sister was a happy little soul that just giggled through life... then as they got older he was easier to deal with it was all quite simple for him a lot of the time, weigh the options, make a decision, act on that decision. With her it was so much more of a drama... still is as they become adults

Congrats. Boys are wonderful. I marvel at how mine sees the world. Everything is so different than how I see it. lol. He's my inspiration. Very exhausting, so be prepared to be busy.

I've always wanted all girls. You may remember I have three daughters and one son. My son is my second child. When I found it was a boy I was so choked up - emotions an all. So I understand the moment of reservation. Both you and he will do just great. He'll be your little man and always look out for his mommy.
